Welcome to another semi-regular doll photo dump, in which I show you all the pictures I took while away at university! Of course, the dolls are in the exact same part of my room every single time, but that’s okay. Actually, this is more than just a university photo dump – some of the pictures are from December once I was back home and all the dolls were together again.
September, 2024
Sophie was first to come to my university house this year . . . and she brought all of her Magic Treehouse books with her! Except I already shared these pictures in this post – Giveaway Over at All Doll’d Up!! (With Bonus Pictures of Sophie) – so I shan’t share them again.
Sophie came home with me on the train for Thanksgiving (which is mid-October in Canada) . . . and that was kind of an odd train trip. Sophie was wrapped up in a tea towel in my backpack, and I had just the backpack and my guitar (but there was a little extra space around the guitar, so I stuffed a pen, a shirt or two, some socks, you get the idea, in with it.)

Toria made the cutest vampire at Hallowe’en! As last year, when Sophie dressed up, Toria got to come downstairs and hang out when my roommates and I had our Hallowe’en party (these are very chill parties, by the way, so no risk of anything at all happening to my dolls).

And look at this, first try making doll sweatpants and they fit perfectly!! Good job pattern drafting, ForestPoodle!
Another outfit with the sweatpants, because they’re really simple but still so cute.
(As an aside, I did make another version with pockets and more other details . . . both are part of the Snowdrift Sweatpants pattern)
Victoria stayed until winter break, and I must’ve brought Sophie back at some point, because they spent some time together before I took them both back home.
Toria and Sophie had a nice bedtime snuggle, complete with a good story – The BFG, which I chose for a book report in grade 4.
Mid/Late December, 2024
And then it was winter break!
For this picture, I picked a theme for their clothes – “dresses/skirts with flowers”. It’s a flower party in December!
I also took out Sophie’s streak of purple in her hair and put in two orange/red/yellow ones instead. She’d been begging me for that for a good year, so it was about time.
While Toria and Wilhelmina (the chicken) are decidedly not friends, Toria and Glenn sure are!
And, what’s that Sophie’s doing? Oh, just standing on a chair while listening to music and holding a pirate flag — isn’t that a normal thing to do?
I don’t know what kind of outfit that is either . . . the theme this time was sweaters, and she’s got that, but I don’t know where she’s going in those flip flops. Not outside, that’s for sure!

Nicole took Toria’s measurements over the break just to make sure my patterns were still the right size. They still are! (predictably)

Nicole came back with me when I went back to my university house in January, and stayed until Reading Week (mid-February).
She hung out with Frog – here he’s giving her advice on what to do when you can’t get your best friend out of bed.

Sophie came again and Frog got socks because my friend put them on him the one day when she was over XD
She also did some writing, just like I did. Except mine was school work :(
Mid-March, 2025
And then we got a most delightful present, and with it, Greta!
Here she is, having stolen the second hand off my clock and looking quite proud of herself. Ah, good thing I didn’t like how it moved anyway, little Greta.
She likes using it as either a sword or a pointer to remind us of important things. This card says “I AM AS WORTHY OF MY DREAMS AS EVERYONE ELSE”.
Late March, 2025
Greta stayed, Sophie left, and Victoria came.
And then I took this really good picture of Toria and I think I might just make it her new photo in the Meet the Dolls page because I like it that much. I could brighten it up a little, but otherwise, I really just love it.
And that is all! After that, I went away tree planting and I had a really great time (seriously, it was the best job I’ve ever had, and you better bet I’m doing it again next summer!). Greta came with me, though I only have three not very good pictures of her, taken to show FlamyFox13 the clothes I was making her. Still, I’ll post those at some slightly later point.
Anyway, I’m hoping to follow in Katie’s (from All Doll’d Up) footsteps and try for a post a month. We’ll see how that goes, but I hope it works. I’ve got ideas, I always do, I just need the time to put them into action!
