Nicole’s Winter Wonderland

Hi hi!! It’s Nicole here and I finally got back from ForestPoodle’s university house. I’m now back with my sisters! I really missed them, but I did get to have a nice outside adventure last Thursday (not yesterday). We got a tonnnnn of snow Wednesday night so ForestPoodle agreed that I could finally go outside. (Did you know that none of us have been outside at the university house yet?? Also, I’m gonna have to come up with a name for the university house because “university house” is just too long. Maybe Mirabella? Or Gerrie?)

Anyway, here’s me with the icicles that were growing on a bush just outside the back door.

And here’s a tree! I couldn’t climb it though, because I’m only wearing leggings and a skirt and I think I’d have gotten very wet doing that. Also it was a massive evergreen and I don’t know how to climb those yet. (YET! That’s an important part!!)

Because I’m so small, I didn’t sink in very far, but I want – no, I NEED – you to know that the snow was a foot tall. At least! But I was still taller than all the snow.

More of the same tree!

And then I began to fall, because the wind was SOO strong, and you know what ForestPoodle didn’t do?? Rescue me! Yeah. Not so nice.

Yep, so that’s me fallen down.

And here’s me, intentionally lying down so that I could make a snow angle (whoops! I got the spelling wrong – I made an angel, not an angle!!). ForestPoodle helped out by drawing a halo. And you know what? My boots are so big and fluffy that my legs didn’t even touch the ground! So no cold legs for me! (That’s not quite true, because they did get wet, but not as wet as they could have.)

This is what I looked like by the end. But don’t worry, ForestPoodle was also wet and snowy. FP88 ended up almost sitting in the snow when crouching down to take pictures because it was just that deep! And then snow kept falling on both of us from the trees and bushes.

It’s a lovely tree! And I had a very fun time outside!

Anyway, I hope you have snow where you are!

Your friend,

Nicole <3
